Is it time to try something different? Join us as beatboxing meets film in a cinematic experience for all ages.

Sound artist, nature beatboxer and composer Jason Singh performs his live soundtrack to the documentary film Drifters (John Grierson). Drifters follows North Sea herring trawlermen through their dramatic daily routines as well as the industry’s struggles between tradition, modernity, and nature.

You’ll hear a totally unique sound experience as Jason Singh combines live vocal sound effects, beatboxing techniques and live sampling to create a thrilling soundtrack to the film.

Especially poignant for coastal communities, Dorset based landscape writer Sarah Acton will be joined by local musician Emily Burridge, to present a newly commissioned piece. Seiners features poetry, field recordings, local musicians and stories of the fishing communities of the South West.

This really is two experiences for the price of one!
