About the event

Joli Vyann’s joyful new dance/circus work, ‘Life’s a Beach’ is inspired by, and made with beach side towns and villages in the New Forest.

Life’s a Beach is an audience interactive, fun and playful observation of family life at the beach, with darker undertones of more serious questions such as the affordability of holidays and second homes raising local house prices.

Using Joli Vyann’s unique dance/circus fusion style, the work will be familiar, nostalgic and funny. Holidaymakers settling in amongst locals, the Great British weather, the preppers, the unprepared, the sandy sandwiches, melting ice creams and greedy seagulls – Life’s a Beach will be a joyous, if not a little chaotic window into a day at
the beach.
