Four top comedians visit Ringwood for an afternoon of fun

Who says comedy shows had to take place in the evening? Recognising that not everyone likes to go out in the evening, Forest Forge Theatre have scheduled this exciting afternoon of stand-up comedy as part of New Forest Comedy Festival.

The four comedians performing are:

Jen Brister is an acclaimed stand-up comedian and author who has received acclaim for her work on BBC One’s Live at the Apollo, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, QI, and Mock the Week. Her comedy special “Meaningless” can be found on Soho Comedy Live.

Jack Skipper, who earned second place in the 2022 “So You Think You’re Funny?” competition, has gained more than 8 million likes on TikTok from his comedic material online.

Mike Cox began doing stand-up comedy in 2011 and quickly climbed to fame for his pointed observational humour, eventually becoming South Coast Comedian of the Year in 2014.

Andrew Bird has established himself as a top headline act throughout the UK and worldwide; he was even selected to open for Rhod Gilbert, Rob Brydon and Michael McIntyre on their arena trek with performances at Wembley Stadium and The O2.
