Having a Yarn In A Barn

In February, Jacqui (Programme Director) went to Yarn In A Barn at Lyndhurst Community Centre, organised by The Farming Community Network.

We heard from farmers, Young Farmers and New Forest Commoners on the changes and challenges in farming, and discussed traditional farming crafts that are dying out or difficult to access in the area.

As a result, we would like to research leather workers, fence weavers and halter/ rope workers to potentially run workshops as part of our programme. If you think you can help with this, send us a message or email cultureincommon@energiseme.org.
