Donate Your Gloves & Help Create a Community Artwork!

Did you know that Ringwood has a unique glove pattern? We’re celebrating Ringwood’s unique history for glove making by inviting the whole Ringwood community to take part in a special creative project – and all you need to do is donate an old glove. Gardening gloves, work gloves, sports gloves, children’s gloves, or even single gloves. Every one carries a story, and we’d love to include yours!

Your donated gloves will become part of a large collaborative artwork that celebrates Ringwood’s spirit, history, and the many hands that make our town what it is. The artwork will be made by the amazing Zest Collective. The finished piece will be unveiled during the Community Celebration Event organised by Ringwood Town Council on Sunday July 12th, where everyone is welcome to come and see how their small contribution helped build something meaningful.

How to Take Part

  1. Donate a glove (or a pair!) – any type, condition, or size
  2. Drop it off at one of our local collection points
  3. Come along on July 12th to see the completed artwork

Your glove will help tell the story of our community – one stitch, one shape, one memory at a time.
