Play On Words Literature Festival
About the event
All Day Event
The Play on Words literature festival returns this autumn from 22nd to 28th October, with events across the New Forest.
Play on Words is the New Forest’s festival encompassing a wide variety of events and activities celebrating reading and writing across the district. Founded by two friends in New Milton in 2018, and led by a steering group of local residents, writers and cultural organisations, Play on Words literature festival returns this year for a ‘long weekend’ edition.
Join us for a local writer showcase, open mic night, writing workshops, fantasy and sci-fi quiz night – and much, much more! Events and activities are starting to go live on the Play on Words website; check here for more updates!
