Fordingbridge Lantern Parade

About the event

The Fordingbridge Lantern Parade returns this November as part of the town’s Christmas Lights Switch On, with lanterns, storytelling and fairytale magic.

Lanterns, stories and a touch of fairytale magic are coming to Fordingbridge!

This year’s theme is Fairytale: Goblins, Elves and Fairies, with plenty of opportunities to get creative and join in.

The fun begins with a Lantern Workshop from 3–5pm at Fordingbridge Scout Hall, where you can make your own lantern ready for the parade.

At 5.30pm, gather at the Salvation Army Garden for storytelling, before the Lantern Parade sets off at 5.45pm.
