From the Persian word meaning light or brilliance, Roshni is a mesmerising fusion of dance and live music that transports audiences on an uplifting journey of rhythm, connection and joy.

Internationally acclaimed artists Sonia Sabri and Sarvar Sabri present a captivating performance that brings together the power of Kathak dance, virtuosic live music and soulful vocals, driven by the exhilarating rhythms of tabla percussion.

Renowned for its dazzling footwork, lightning-fast spins and expressive storytelling, Kathak is one of the world’s great classical dance traditions. In Roshni, intricate movement, gesture and percussion weave seamlessly with a rich live musical landscape inspired by South Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

Rooted in the traditions of North Indian Kathak and reimagined through Sonia Sabri’s distinctive British perspective, Roshni is both deeply personal and universally resonant.
