Lullaby Family Cycling Event

About the event

Join us to Light up the New Forest in this FREE Winter Family Cycling Event!

Lullaby (by artist Luke Jerram) will be visiting Pennington, New Milton and Dibden Purlieu this winter, to fill the streets with music and light in this free family cycling event!

At dusk, when the streets are quiet a young family awaits the Lullaby to pass by their home. Music can be heard drifting down the streets and a shoal of twinkling lights is seen in the distance, getting closer. A mass of illuminated bikes pass their homes producing the most ambient and serene music to lull their children to sleep.

Lullaby will be coming to:

11th Dec – Pennington (Route Map)
16th Dec – New Milton (Route Map)
Unfortunately, the Dibden Purlieu Lullaby on 15th January has been cancelled due to adverse weather.

Lullaby is the first artwork Luke has made specifically for young children. As a parent, he is particularly aware that a child’s bedtime is a very special and fragile time of day. Lullaby is a gift to a neighbourhood, a surround sound illuminated artwork, created by its own citizens, and delivered at dusk, to the public’s door.
