We’ll Meet Again: A Day To Remember

About the event

West End actors and local talent will take you on a whistle stop tour of World War 2 in this Performance to accompany the new exhibition at Buckler's Hard.

Combining well known songs, live music, poetry of the period and stories collected from current local residents who lived through it, We’ll Meet Again: A Day To Remember will transport you back to 1945 in a tribute to the sacrifice made by the brave men and women of the time. This production is a FREE theatre performance.

This May, Buckler’s Hard marks the 81st anniversary of VE Day with the launch of a brand-new exhibition, Beaulieu River at War.

Opening on 22 May and running until the end of October, the exhibition reveals the powerful wartime story of the river and its role during the Second World War. Curated by local historian Marc Heighway alongside Mary Montagu-Scott for the Buckler’s Hard Shipyard Trust, it’s a must-see for history lovers – and free to visit

AMELIA MILLAR
Amelia is a recent London transplant, hailing from New York. A passionate traveler, she’s been
fortunate to perform dozens of musicals across the US and even Tokyo, Japan! Favourite roles
include: Lead Vocalist (Big Band Beat; Tokyo DisneySea), Featured Singer (Thursford Christmas
Spectacular), Maggie (A Chorus Line), Campbell (Bring It On: The Musical), Ginger (Irving Berlin’s
I Love a Piano), Frumah Sarah (Fiddler on the Roof), and Patti Simcox (Grease!).
